The Last Rose is a small box from doraifurawa’s Night Chapter, created as a quiet funeral for a love that has ended, entrusted to a flower and a letter.
Gently pull open the black drawer to reveal a withered rose, petals, and a letter tied with string. Open it, read the words, and close it again. This small gesture gives form to a quiet farewell to the time you shared.
The meaning held in one withered rose
In this work, we use the withered rose as a symbol of a love that has ended. Even a relationship that will no longer continue had a time when it bloomed. This flower holds that memory and the feelings left unsaid. This is the meaning doraifurawa has given to the work.
It can be a gift carrying words of thanks or goodbye after you have communicated the end of a relationship. You can also keep it for yourself, with a letter you choose never to send.
Two ways to prepare your letter
We prepare the letter using your words
We use the text you provide to prepare a letter on paper marked by fire, then place it in the box with the flower. After ordering, email your order number, letter text, and any preferences for the recipient’s name or signature to doraifurawa.shop@gmail.com. Please discuss details such as handwriting or printing with us by email before production.
For direct delivery to the recipient, enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. Please confirm their willingness to receive it before delivery.
Write it yourself on blank paper
We include blank paper marked by fire. Please use your own address for delivery. Once it arrives, write your own words, place the letter in the box with the flower, and give it to the recipient yourself.
Both letter options are the same price. The blank paper shown in the photos is a reference for its texture and finish.

The dimensions refer to the box. As natural materials, the flowers vary in shape and colour, and the petals vary in size and quantity. The burn marks and shape of each sheet of paper also differ.
How to order
- Choose your letter option and place your order through the cart.
- If you choose a letter prepared by us, email your order number and text. We begin production after confirming the text and finish with you.

Caring for your box
The flowers and paper are delicate. Keep the box level and open and close it slowly. Store it away from direct sunlight, high heat, humidity, and open flames. Do not water the flowers. Dried flowers may chip or shed petals if handled firmly.
When giving it to someone, add your own words rather than leaving the flower’s symbolism alone to communicate the end of a relationship.
