The Closure gift set: a withered rose and farewell letter in a frame

The Closure | Withered Rose & Letter Frame

A frame for flowers and words
The Closure combines a withered rose and a letter in a piece from doraifurawa's Night Chapter. If you want to keep a memory of a relationship or give shape to feelings you have not yet said, you can keep it for yourself. You do not have to give it to anyone.

If you are thinking of giving it to someone else, first make sure they would welcome it. A flower alone may not communicate your decision to end a relationship. This piece is not offered as a way to seek a reply or reconciliation.

Seeing a withered rose as a reminder that love once bloomed is doraifurawa's own interpretation, not a meaning everyone shares. The frame cannot promise emotional closure or a particular outcome.

Entrust your unexpressed feelings to flowers and a letter

Not every farewell ends in hatred.

You may want to keep the memory of time that mattered.
You may want to write down feelings you have not said.
You may want to keep them for yourself, without sending anything.

doraifurawa created The Closure, a frame that brings together a withered rose and a letter, as one way to hold those words and memories.

In our Night Chapter, a withered rose can symbolize a relationship that has ended, time that has passed, and feelings left unsaid. This is doraifurawa's interpretation; it is not a meaning everyone shares.

If you are thinking of giving the frame to someone, first make sure they would welcome it. Preparing an object does not guarantee that a relationship or a feeling will find closure.

For Those Who Want to Give a Memory a Place

・For someone who wants to keep a record of a relationship that mattered

・For someone with an unsent letter or feelings that are still hard to say

・For someone whose recipient would welcome a gift accompanied by words of thanks

・For someone who has already spoken about a farewell and wants to keep its memory in flowers and words

About the Farewell Letter

For The Closure, we prepare one letter using one of three methods confirmed with you after your order.

  1. Use one sample letter
The three displayed letters are examples of wording, typography, and layout. They are not fixed product options, and all three are not included. If you choose one to use as written, we lay it out and print it, then deliver it assembled in the frame.
  2. Print your own words
After ordering, email your order number, the text to print, and any layout requests to doraifurawa.shop@gmail.com. We lay out and print the text by computer; we do not handwrite it on your behalf. Please use Shopify Inbox only for questions before ordering.
  3. Write on a blank sheet with real burn marks
Each sheet starts from A5 size (about 210 × 148 mm) and is individually marked with real fire. The edges, shape, and final size vary. You write the words yourself and place the sheet in the frame.

Examples of Wording, Typography, and Layout

The three displayed letters are examples of wording, typography, and layout, not fixed product options. You can use them for inspiration or choose one to print as written. Your order includes one letter prepared by the method confirmed with you, not all three examples.

A Closer Look at The Closure

Front view of The Closure: a withered rose and letter in a black frame

Keep the memory. Let the future take its own shape.

Inside the frame are a deeply colored withered rose and words on paper marked by fire.

A relationship may have changed or ended, yet the time you shared can still matter.

At doraifurawa, we use a withered rose to hold the memory of a love that changed, gratitude for time together, and words that were left unsaid. This is our interpretation, not a universal meaning.

The frame can give a memory a place. It cannot decide how you should feel or what happens next.

Keep the letter, or share it when welcome

The Closure combines a withered rose and a letter to give a form to memories and feelings left unspoken.

You can keep an unsent letter in the frame for yourself. Whether to display it or put it away is your choice.

If you want to share it, first make sure the recipient would welcome it. A flower cannot replace a clear conversation about a relationship.

When you are not ready to talk about it

If you do not feel ready to talk, you can write down your thoughts or put reminders away for a while. The Closure is one way to give a memory a form through flowers and words. You can also wait until you want to write, or choose not to prepare anything.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What kind of product is "The Closure"?

The Closure is a frame combining a withered rose and one letter prepared by the method confirmed for your order. It was created as a way to give a place to gratitude, unsaid feelings, or words of farewell. You may keep it for yourself or share it with someone who would welcome it.

Q. What is the meaning of a dried rose?

A withered rose has no single, generally accepted flower meaning. In doraifurawa's Night Chapter, we use it to remember a relationship that has ended, time that has passed, gratitude for that time, and feelings left unsaid. This is our interpretation, not a meaning everyone shares.

Q. Are dried roses too morbid as a farewell gift?

People may understand a withered rose differently, even when you intend it as a gesture of gratitude. If you plan to give one, first check that the recipient would welcome it and explain why you chose it. You can also keep the flower and your words for yourself.

Q. Is it rude to send it to the other party?

The frame is not intended to blame or hurt the other person. If you are considering giving it, explain your intention and first make sure they would welcome receiving it. We do not recommend giving it directly if they do not want it or the situation is unsettled.

Q. Is this product for getting back together with an ex?

This is not meant to encourage reconciliation. It is a framework for accepting the end of a relationship, not for continuing it.

Q. How is the letter prepared?

There are three methods: we print one of the three displayed examples, we lay out and print your own words, or we provide a blank sheet with real burn marks for you to write on. The examples are not fixed product options, and all three letters are not included.

For your own printed words, email your order number, the text, and any layout requests to doraifurawa.shop@gmail.com after ordering. We print by computer; we do not handwrite on your behalf. Shopify Inbox is for questions before ordering only.

A sample letter or your own printed letter arrives assembled in the frame. If you choose the blank sheet, you write on it and place it in the frame yourself.

Q. How much is shipping?

Standard shipping to destinations available at checkout is free. Orders to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, and Singapore are shipped free of charge via China Post ePacket (e邮宝). You pay only the amount shown when placing your order. We cover any customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance, quarantine-related fees, and other delivery-related charges; these are not charged separately to you. For destinations outside these four regions, customs duties, import taxes, or other charges may apply separately depending on the destination.

Q. What happens after dispatch, and will I receive tracking?

We provide tracking information after dispatch. For delivery to Japan, the estimate is about 7–14 days after dispatch; the parcel is sent from our atelier in China and handled by Japan Post after it arrives in Japan. Routes and delivery times for other destinations may differ. Weather, customs, and transport conditions can also affect timing.

Q. Can you send it directly to someone else?

Yes. If the recipient welcomes the gift, enter their address as the delivery address at checkout. If you choose blank burn-marked paper to write on yourself, we recommend delivery to your own address first.

We do not include a price tag or an invoice showing the price inside the parcel. International shipping labels or customs declarations may still display the item name and declared information.

Q. Can this also be used to help process your feelings after a breakup?

Yes. You can keep The Closure for yourself without giving it to anyone. You might place an unsent letter or words you want to remember beside the withered rose. Whether to display the frame or put it away is your choice; it does not have to bring your feelings to an end.

Q. What will I receive?

You receive a frame with a withered rose, one letter prepared by the method confirmed after your order, and dedicated packaging. The letter is either one printed sample, your own printed words, or a blank sheet with real burn marks for you to write on. The three methods and all three displayed sample letters are not included together.
